Bhimpalasi raag formed by combining two different raag that is Bhim and Palasi. In this raag, Swara combinations like Sa Ma and Pa Ga are used with gamak frequently.
Bhimpalasi raag is one of the popular raag of Indian classical music and played in all three octaves. It is a solemn type raag in which Khayal and Masitkhani are sung and played. This raag belongs to Kaafi Thaat.
